Danu's House of the Silver Forest
Simple, small cabin where the original employee housing once stood in the 1940s. Forest shelter. Minutes to Lamar Valley. Soaring alpine views from loft. Wildlife and hiking from the door. Custom built 2019. Nature inspired decor and materials. Oversized tub. Heated flooring. Yoga loft. Borders small brook~willows in pristine moose habitat, sorry no motorized vehicles. Requires guests climb ladder to loft & navigate path from parking spot. Accessible but quiet: 100 yds to road, only rippling waters, birdsong, howling wolves.
Nature inspired design
Lovingly Built in 2019
We mindfully poured in the love here, using mostly hand built or salvaged supplies. Every element serves a simple purpose as in our forest surrounds.
Lower level has a twin fold out couch. Upper sleeping has double bed in loft (accessible only by ladder). Small and simple pared down kitchen and dining. Deep tub with big sky views...
Danu's includes wifi but no Cafe breakfast, rentals are longer term.
